2016 BGCDT Employee Giving Campaign

 

Congratulations to the entire BGCDT Staff for collectively pledging over $15,000 in employee donations through the recent 2016 BGCDT Employee Giving Campaign.  BGCDT staff set a new record, up from a then record of over $13,000 in 2015! 

The staff achieved 94% participation, which is excellent and the average gift pledged by our part-time staff was over $200 per person.

Boys & Girls Clubs Staff Celebrate Anniversaries!

 

Congratulations to Celeste Wilson (Lakewood Club Unit, 3 years), Debbe Lowe (Lakewood Club Unit, 3 years), Melissa Arroyo (Meadowdale Club Unit, 2 years) and Gina Migliore (Sunny Hill Club Unit, 1 year) for each achieving a BGCDT Anniversary during the month of January!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township employ nearly 70 local professionals, both full and part time, across eight (8) Club Unit locations.  We are extremely proud of our dedicated staff for their loyalty and consistency with our organization.

Comcast Foundation presents $50,000 grant to BGCDT

 

On Wednesday, Jan. 20 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township Board Members and Leadership Team were presented with a $50,000 check donation on behalf of Chris Nelson, Director of Government Affairs, and several management leaders from Comcast (Chicago Region).

Awarded by the Comcast Foundation, a charitable entity of Comcast, the grant will go toward expanding My.Future, a technology training program that gives users a chance to build upon their skills week after week, said Curt McReynolds, president and CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Dundee Township.

Happy 19th Birthday BGCDT!

 

On Wednesday, January 13th, 2016 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township celebrated our 19th Birthday!  Each Club member received a little treat from the Club that afternoon, as well as fun celebrations and games in honor of the big day.

Congratulations to all of our investors, friends and supporters for the amazing support over the past 19 years.  Today, as one of the largest Boys & Girls Clubs organizations in the State of Illinois, we are proud to serve nearly 3,000 children and families in our community that need us the most. 

2nd Annual Toys-4-Teeth Project

 

Thank you to Dr. Tim Stirneman and his entire staff at All Smiles Dental for providing some amazing holiday magic for our Boys & Girls Club members at Meadowdale Elementary School.  On Friday, Dec. 18th, Dr. Stirneman surprised our Club members, dressing as elves and Santa, to pass out over 130 gifts to each of our Club members at Meadowdale Elementary.

K40 Electronics surprises BGCDT with $50,000 donation!

 

Peggy Finley, K40 Electronics President, and her entire staff presented the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township Leadership Team with an early holiday gift…in the form of a $50,000 donation

The $50,000 donation was presented to Curt McReynolds (BGCDT President & CEO), Mike Berger (VP of Operations) and Amalia Woolf (VP of Program Services) on Wednesday, Dec. 9th at K40 Electronics. 

2015 Operation Warm – Carpentersville Rotary Club

 
A huge “thank you” to our friends at the Carpentersville Rotary Club for providing over 300 brand new winter coats and gloves to our Club members through the 6th Annual Operation Warm project.
 
The Carpentersville Rotarians’ visited each BGCDT Elementary Club Unit on Tuesday, Dec. 1st to hand-deliver the new winter coats to appreciative Club members.
 
Thank you to the Carpentersville Rotary Club for six years of this incredible partnership!

Mad Hatter’s Ball

 

On Saturday, Nov. 14th a record 360 guests poured into the historic OTTO warehouse for the 2015 Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township’s “Mad Hatter’s Ball”.

Friends, investors, sponsors and supporters were treated to an elegant evening that included delicious food, exciting Live Auction and Silent Auction items and the entertainment of Dueling Piano’s (Felix & Fingers) and a Live Band (Stereo Heart) to close the night!
